本研究之目的在於瞭解高雄市國小高年級學童動物實驗態度之現況，並探討不同背景的受試學童，在動物實驗態度之差異情形。本研究採用問卷調查法，採用自編之「國小高年級學童動物實驗態度調查問卷」作為研究工具。本研究之母群體為高雄市公立國民小學高年級學童，以分層立意叢集抽樣的方式進行調查，發出770份問卷，回收有效問卷701份。所得資料採用描述性統計、t考驗、單因子變異數分析及皮爾遜積差相關等統計方法，進行資料處理分析。 歸納本研究結果，主要研究發現如下： 1.高雄市國小高年級學童對於動物實驗認知約有中上程度的理解。 2.高雄市國小高年級學童對於動物實驗態度傾向謹慎。 3.高雄市國小高年級學童對於動物實驗行為約半有具體表現。 4.高雄市國小高年級學童之動物實驗態度與其個人背景有關。 學童之動物實驗認知與其年級、父母教育程度、父親職業類別、 父母社經地位、是否接觸過動物實驗資訊、動物實驗相關知識來 源及動物實驗相關知識來源總數有關。學童之動物實驗態度與其 父母社經地位及動物實驗相關知識來源有關。學童在動物實驗行 為的參與度與關切度與其年級、飼養寵物經驗、動物實驗相關知 識來源及動物實驗相關知識來源總數有關。 5.高雄市國小高年級學童之動物實驗相關知識來源管道多元化。 最後根據研究結果加以討論，並提供具體建議以作為相關單位及未來研究者之參考。
The aim of this research is to understand the current attitudes toward animal experiment that senior students of elementary school in Kaohsiung have and to discuss the differences of the attitudes toward animal experiment among examined students from different backgrounds. The method adopted in this research is Questionnaire Survey, and the “Questionnaire of Senior Elementary School Students’ Attitudes toward Animal Experiment” is designed by the researcher to use as a tool. The population of this research is the senior students of public elementary school in Kaohsiung, and Stratified Judgmental Cluster Sampling is used. There are 770 questionnaires in total with 701 effective questionnaires collected. All data are analyzed with statistical techniques,such as descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Person product-moment correlation etc. The major findings are summed up as follows: 1.In terms of the cognition of animal experiment, the level of understanding of the senior elementary school students in Kaohsiung is about higher-intermediate. 2.In terms of the attitude toward animal experiment, the senior elementary school students in Kaohsiung tend towards caution. 3.In terms of the behavior of animal experiment, nearly half of the senior elementary school students in Kaohsiung take concrete action. 4. The senior elementary school students’ attitudes toward animal experiment in Kaohsiung are related to their personal backgrounds. The students’ cognition of animal experiment are related to their age, parents’ level of education, father’s occupation, parents’ social and economical status, being exposed to information about animal experiment or not, sources of knowledge related to animal experiment and the amount of the sources. The students’ attitudes toward animal experiment are related to their parents’ social and economical status and sources of knowledge related to animal experiment. The students’ behavior of animal experiment in terms of participation and attention are related to their age, experience of keeping pets, sources of knowledge related to animal experiment and the amount of the sources. 5.The sources of knowledge related to animal experiment of the senior elementary school students in Kaohsiung are diverse. In the end, the findings will be further discussed accordingly and concrete proposals will be provided as references for related institutes and further researchers.
